Hello, Anifriends

For this one, I’m going to make a bit of a modification to the 30 Day Anime Challenge. Since the list I am using says “favorite fighter anime,” I’m going to interpret this as my favorite shonen. With that being said, let’s get into it.

Fairytail

Yeah, this is another category that I really did not need to think about. I have been watching Fairytail since I was 12, and I’ve been keeping up with the series ever since then.

As I have gotten older though, I have come to terms with the fact that the show itself is fairly mediocre. In fact, I recently watched a video by BestGuyEver in which he points out a lot of the flaws in the series, and for all the points he makes, I am not sure he really misses the mark on a single one of them.

That is to say that there are a lot of things wrong with Fairytail, and those things should be considered when looking at how good the show is. However, even with its flaws, I really love Fairytail. From its interesting take on magic and wizards, and engaging world and plot threads that woven together well. Not to mention the reason its even here, the action.

Overall, I can say that I enjoy Fairytail while acknowledging its flaws, and there’s no reason anyone else could not either.
