Welcome, weebs and authors alike, to another update.
Well, after a good month of doing just about nothing, I think I’m finally ready to get back on the grind when it comes to the blog. There were a lot of reasons I initially decided I needed a break, and I think most if not all of those reasons have been resolved. I got a bit more time to watch/play SMITE, which is something I had been looking forward to for a while. I also have had a lot of time to just watch anime, which is something I don’t get to do a lot anymore.
The Aniwriter Moving Forward
Another part of the reason that I took a break was to figure out what exactly it is I want to do creatively moving forward. Unfortunately, I have yet to fully come to a conclusion on that front. What I have decided is that the best thing for me right now is just to continue to take in new experiences and use that to feed my creativity moving forward. I really don’t want to start making stale, boring posts for no reason.
Thinking Long-Term
One of the things my college success professor stresses to us constantly is that we should always be setting goals because goals make it much easier to achieve the things we want in life. At the beginning of class this week, she asked us to name a long-term goal we had. I thought I would take this time to share some of my long-term goals as well. Right now, I have just a couple main ones.
- Publish a book within the next five years
- Get paid as a freelance writer
And that’s pretty much all I have to say for this update. I’ll start putting out posts again tomorrow.
Setting up and writing down goals always helps.

For sure. My daily to do lists have also been helping me keep my life organized.
