It has been a while since the last time I did any kind of challenge, so I figured it was time for another one.
#1: Favorite Guilty Pleasure Anime
It is hard to say that I have a particular “guilty pleasure” anime, because I generally do not feel bad for watching any particular show, and I am usually pretty open about the shows that I do enjoy, like March Comes in Like a lion. However, if I were to pick one, it would be Fairytail.
The main reason for this is that, despite it having previously been one of my favorite anime, it still feels like, a lot of the time, the show is just insulting my intelligence. A lot of this has to due with the fan-service that is peppered generously throughout the series. Some times it is OK, and can lighten the mode of a scene when needed, but most of the time it becomes an unnecessary distraction that takes away from the story.
