It is now day three of the second 30 Day Anime Challenge.

#3: Anime That Overstayed Its Welcome

As much as I enjoyed “Bleach” when I was younger, it definitely has a lot of problems, and I would say that overstaying its welcome was among them as well. Despite its high points, bleach also had a lot of low points towards the end of the anime’s run. Specifically, the substitute arc, which detailed Ichigo’s attempts to regain his powers, while interesting in premise, felt poorly executed and could have just been left out of the anime. It became boring, plain and simple, and needed to stop.
