Welcome, weebs, to Animated Observations
It is now day six of the second 30 Day Anime Challenge.

#6: Anime You Hate, But Everyone Loves

Again, this show definitely does not rise to the level of hate, as its first season is actually incredibly good, but one anime that fell out of favor with me was “Chihayafuru.” It is hard to pinpoint exactly why this is the case, but if I had to give it least one reason, it would probably have something to do with the relationship between the three main characters.
At the beginning of the series, it was pretty obvious that there was going to be some emotional turmoil. However, by the middle of the second season, it felt like “Chihayafuru’s” love triangle had not really resolved anything. It all just felt awkward. It is possible that the awkwardness was intentional, but for me, it made watching the show that much harder and uninteresting.
Whats an anime you hate but everyone loves? Let me know in the comments.

If you can’t, or just don’t feel like it, no worries. Thank you all for reading, and goodbye, for now, friends!
I haven’t seen it, so I can’t comment. I can think of anime I’ve seen that I can’t stand, but everyone else likes such as Saikano, The Garden of Words, Miss Hokusai, and Kai Doh Maru.

The animation is great, but I find the story to be extremely problematic and there’s an obvious unfortunate implication with the plot and the two main characters. I actually made a review of it: https://iridiumeye.wordpress.com/2017/04/29/the-garden-of-words-review/
