30 Day Anime Challenge Two: Day 25

Welcome, weebs, to Animated Observations

It is day 25 of the second 30 Day Anime Challenge

#25: Scene That Always Blows Your Mind

“Redline” is a crazy movie. Released in 2009 by studio Madhouse, the film took around seven years to make, and man was it worth it. It has so many good moments, but undoubtedly one of its best moments comes at the end, where JP and Sonoshee face off against the Machinehead, in the biggest race of the year, Redline. Even without knowing the context of the film, the scene looks and sounds awesome. Definitely give it a watch.

What scene always blows your mind? Let me know in the comments.

  • Oh, man. I still need to check out Redline. I heard great things about it.

Some other scenes that blew my mind in anime would be the scene where Kaguya runs away in The Tale of the Princess Kaguya with how it looks like an ancient Japanese art in motion, the fight scenes in Paprika, the climax of Perfect Blue with the whole “changing identities” aspect, Ichise beating up people with his new limbs in Texhnolyze, and the scene in Kimba the White Lion where Caesar’s spirit (Kimba’s dead father) shows up in the night sky to talk to his son because of how a certain movie ripped it off shot-for-shot.
